Vintage Field Trip

Hallo zusammen!

Hi everyone! I'm wishing you all a lovely Tuesday, sending you some flower greetings from my weekend field trip... I went on a nice little treasure hunting tour with my family to the land of vintage. When we came across this field of wild flowers, we had to stop and adore this pure beauty and I captured this wonderful moment with my camera. I love, love, love natural flowers, cornflowers and red poppies are one of my favorites. Just looking at this picture makes me happy... After we soaked up enough gorgeousness, we continued our journey. But when we reached the so called "antique insider's tip" from my friend, it wasn't so secret anymore... Lots of big city folks combed the little village for a good vintage catch. So we just had a quick look and drove on to another flea market...

I'm a big fan of tin boxes... The white ones with the little label holders stole my heart... But I have way too many already and no space to put them anymore... So they had to stay.

Retro furniture and accessories are always fun to look at, because they're so coloful and bright. The tartan weekender and the yellow telephone remind me of old movies with Barbara Streisand... Then I spent forever at the booth of a nice man who sold vintage labels and all kind of paper goodies and in the end I wanted them all...

When we were about to leave the market, I spotted this white vase. As you might have read on my "about" page, I collect all kinds of white vases. And to my delight this was a style I already have in a bigger size. So after a little bargaining this lovely piece changed hands and I was one happy treasure hunter...

Tadaaa!

Here's a snap shot from the little white vase with her older sister, sitting on the sideboard in my living room. I hope you like it and had some fun with my little flea market tour today!

  5. Is there anything better than a wildflower meadow in the summertime? I think not.

  7. At first glance, I thought the flower field was a painting of some great artist in the museum! Actually it reminded me of Monet and his style. It's really really nice photograph. I love flea market and all kind of vintage. The vast that you got, looks so chic and modern with the white apples :)
